Crude inventories in the US rose by 6.088 million barrels in the week ended October 8th, following an 2.346 million increase in the previous week and compared with analysts’ estimates of a 0.702 million advance, according to the EIA Petroleum Status Report.
Cushing Crude Oil inventories dropped to 1.968 million barrels, following a 1.548 million barrels increase from last week.
Gasoline inventories fell by 1.958 million barrels, following a 3.256 million barrels increase in the prior period and below analysts’ expectations of 0.083 million barrels drop.
US distillate inventories increase to - 0.024 million barrels after decreasing 0.396 million barrels in the previous week.
