DE30, euro tank on recession fears
Mar 25, 2019
Equity markets and the euro are declining following the remarkably weak PMIs from Germany and France. Such the gloomy numbers seem to raise concerns over a recession just three months after the ECB decided to end its QE programme. Risk-off is also weighing on other EM currencies with the Turkish lira tumbling more than 2%. The EURUSD is hovering around 1.13 (-0.6%) and the DE30 is declining 0.9% at 12:30 pm BST.
