Stocks soar on deals hopes

Equity markets are on the rise today with DE30 gaining 1.4% in Europe and US500 adding 0.8% in the US as traders hope that some major negative outcomes can be avoided. First, US lawmakers agreed on a deal that would postpone shutdown for 6 months and second, there are rumours that US will extend a deadline to find a deal with China beyond the end of this month to allow for a Trump-Xi meeting where an agreement could be signed. However, much will depend on the outcome of mid-levels talks that are held in China this week.
