US dollar gains ahead of the vote on the Brexit deal

The US dollar is gaining on Tuesday ahead of the vote on the Brexit deal that will take place in the British parliament today in the evening. Interestingly while the British pound is quite stable, euro is under more pressure as the EURUSD is down to 1.1420, the lowest level in more than a week. Things may become more volatile in the evening as the vote originally planned for 7pm GMT may be delayed after a heated debate in the parliament.
